United Airlines Pilot Recruitment Process-2023

A general outline of what the recruitment process might entail for pilots applying to UAL in 2023:

To apply for UAL go to their application website and submit the online application according to step one below.

  1. Online Application: Candidates submit an online application through the UAL careers website. This application typically includes personal information, pilot certifications, flight hours, and relevant qualifications.

  2. Personality Quiz/Hogan Test: Once completed an interview can be issued a few weeks later. If selected for an interview you will get an email however if not you will not hear back. You will have a set time to complete the online testing that will be sent to your email after you submit your application.

  3. Interview in Denver: Welcomed and shown around the facilities. My log books were viewed and discussed any application issues and hour discrepancies. The interview conducted by a pilot and HR, went for less than an hour and covered around 5 TMAAT questions and general questions from the Interview questions below. Tell us about yourself, and a scenario-based question: Scenario LAX to DEN, 2 hours in, pressurization malfunction requiring a decent down to Fl100, after I just confirmed that I understood what paperwork was required.

See below for questions and write-ups.
