    JAN 2024 JetStar Applicant

There were 4 applicants including myself, two from GA (instructional and charter) each having been there for 2-3 years, and one on the Dash 8 at Air NZ (experience unknown), and I have around 2000 hours on the A320.

It went almost exactly as described in your last update for Jetstar, with exactly the same introduction and situational questions. Sim profile was on the A320 at Ansett, and was also exactly the same as shared by you. No single-engine stuff either.

    GA Pilot:

Got through the JQ interview a couple of days ago. The website guide had it pretty much spot on. They also asked about a time I brought out the best in someone else.

There was no asymmetric stuff in the sim. We did a lot of turns (rate 1, climbing, descending and steep), radial intercepts, VOR and ILS. Which VOR you do is just based on if you or your sim partner go first. We were allowed to use our sim partners as much as we wanted to (we have to brief them prior what we'd like them to do) . I made a mess of the VOR first go and I asked to do it again and…
